Team Resources, Inc., headquartered in Ventura, California, is an oil and natural gas operating company founded in 2002 by President & CEO Kevin Boyles. Team's current development acreage consists of nearly 30,000 acres and is located in S.E. Kansas, with field offices located in Yates Center and Burden, Kansas.
The company's directors have over 100 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and are vital to Team's successful execution of its business model. Team Resources strategy is fairly simple, yet successful. Team acquires producing and productive under developed fields and drills new wells in between this established production. This is called "developmental drilling" or
exploitation of proven under developed reserves (PUD's).
Many of these fields have become available due to the fact that large oil and gas producers like Exxon Mobil and Chevron typically develop projects that can produce huge quantities of oil and gas daily. These types of projects are usually found offshore or in foreign countries. Although there are thousands of existing oil and gas projects in the US, most are too small to meet the investment criteria of the major oil producers.
